Skylanders Swap Force LogoHOLY CRAP A NEW SKYLANDERS GAME IS COMING OUT AND I’M TOTALLY GOING TO BUY IT!!

In other news, the Wii U is going to get a special ZombiU bundle to help with its dismal sales. This should be good news considering one of the Wii U’s only hot exclusive titles is getting delayed and it’s no longer an exclusive.

Right in the Nintendo fanboy heart!

Surprising no one, a new Skylanders game called Swap Force is due out this Fall. The game features new Skylanders toys with interchangeable tops and bottoms. The game also finally allows players to jump!

To the disapproval of all Wii U owners, the one-time-exclusive Rayman Legends will be coming out on the Xbox 360 and PS3. Also, the game has been pushed back on the Wii U until September so it can release alongside the other console’s version. Ouch.

The Witcher 3 is coming next year. It will be the final game in the series of role playing games. Anticipate the newest Game Informer, as it will have an exclusive first look next month.

IGN parted with News Corporation as its parent company, being purchased this week by Ziff Davis. This likely won’t change much at IGN, but it does authenticate the talks of the site losing interest (and money) for News Corporation.

Highly anticipated (and overall excellent) 3DS strategy RPG Fire Emblem: Awakening was met with some commotion its week of release, as a “shipping error” caused many stores to not have the game at all on launch day. The game should be available now, and you should buy it.

Square Enix teased a new game this week called Murdered: Soul Suspect for the PS3, 360, and PC. Little is known about the title, but it certainly has a questionable URL.

Latecomers to the Wii U party can hop on board February 17th with a special bundle. For $390 you get the 32GB system, Nintendo Land, ZombiU, and a Pro Controller. That’s a pretty solid deal considering the game and controller would run you about $90 separately.

Laters,
