Aliens Colonial Marines ArtSo Aliens: Colonial Marines came out.

But leave it to Nintendo to save the week with a handful of brand new game announcements, a remake of a Wii classic, and, believe it or not, some worthwhile DLC!

Nintendo has declared 2013 “The Year of Luigi” and announced a handful of new titles. Games include Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D on the 3DS, Mario & Luigi: Dream Team also on the 3DS, and a brand new Mario Golf title for the 3DS, among many other titles.

Take Two, the company behind development studios Rockstar and 2K, has purchased the rights from THQ’s WWE license.

This should be good news no matter who you are: indie game A Hat in Time will likely be coming to North America in the future.

In the wake of the delay of Rayman Legends on the Wii U to finish development on the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, many people protested against Ubisoft and demanded the game be released on the Wii U as scheduled. The game’s creator has joined in the protests.

Aliens: Colonial Marines released to near unanimous disapproval. This is a let down considering the game’s lengthy development time.
