Sunday Roundup: 2/17/13

New Games (2-17-13)This week was planned. I thought to myself, “Jason, you’re gonna go out there, find some cheap-ass games, and you’re going to buy them.” I actually decided this. Usually I refrain from splurging on games like this, convincing myself I don’t need the game, even if it is $3, which many of these games were (if not less). But I was in a buying mood, and, thankfully, many places were in the selling spirit! And wouldn’t you know it, there were even some surprises in this week’s roundup!

Gaming News: 2/9/13

In other news, the Wii U is going to get a special ZombiU bundle to help with its dismal sales. This should be good news considering one of the Wii U’s only hot exclusive titles is getting delayed and it’s no longer an exclusive.

Game Hunter’s Journal: Magic Price

Game Stack 2 I’ve discussed the “Magic Price” with Jett and Mat on an episode of the Recurring Bosscast (which you should listen to right now!), but I wanted to touch I the topic again. Buying games isn’t cheap, but if you are patient and work under the confines of your own budget, you can own piles of games that will keep you occupied for the foreseeable future. Sunday Roundup: 2/3/13

New Games (2-3-13)I’ve been bitten by the “I feel obligated to spend money” bug! And I have a feeling the symptoms aren’t going to go away until I pick up a few cheap games. This week was just the starter. I’m getting antsy about buying games I’ve been looking at on the GameStop shelves for months/years now: all I’m waiting for is a “Buy 2, Get 1 Free” used sale and I’m gonna go nuts. By “go nuts” i mean drop like, $30. I’ll probably buy upwards of 10 games with said $30, so it’ll be a good deal. More on that to come if and when it should occur. Until then…
