Gaming News: 11/10/12

Get your wallets reader everyone, Black Friday is almost upon us. And with that not only comes leftover turkey and delicious desserts for the upcoming weekend, but also great deals on video games! Many big retailers have released their advertisements for the shopping event, so you’d better start planning where you’re going, what you’re going to get, and how you’re going to deal with all those other people waiting in front of you in line! My suggestion? Don’t make a scene.

Also this week, two bits of information concerning everyone’s favorite Disney-owned series Star Wars, as well as an alert to collector’s looking for games that are soon-to-be-hard-to-find.

 

Gaming News: 11/3/12

Another exciting week in gaming news, complete with controversy, new games, and even some game save-deleteing bugs! Which are arguably the best kind of bugs (stupid wasps…)

I highlight the integrity of games journalists as the fallout and backlash from one article has taken a small toll on the world of games. And what would it be without some Borderlands 2 news? A shabby week, that’s what!

Oh, and something about George Lucas and Disney? I don’t know if you heard about that either…

 

Gaming News: 10/27/12

So apparently there’s going to be a Borderlands game for iOS? And what’s better is that it’s coming out next week! I’ve already got my five bucks ready to throw away for this one.

On to other news: the newest Professor Layton is looking sharper than ever, PAX expands to Australia, and Zynga isn’t doing so well.

 

Gaming News: 10/20/12

This week we’ve got lots of game updates!

Xbox 360 Minecraft players were delighted to finally get a long overdue update, while Borderlands 2 players who are currently enjoying their first batch of DLC can sweat with anticipation for the next round of content that was rumored this week.

Gaming News: 10/13/12

Darkstalkers is coming back. Even if it is in a re-release, at least it’s something for fans to hold on to!

Also this week, there were ups and downs for Borderlands 2 players, including an early release of some DLC, a bug that erased some players game data, and then an announcement for even newer DLC next week!

And if you frequented SlickGaming this past week and enjoyed my Pokemon posts, then you’ll be entertained by a unique parody game by PETA concerning the ethical treatment of Pokemon animals.

 

Gaming News Snippets: 10/6/12

If you weren’t already sold on Assassin’s Creed III, perhaps some DLC involving a corrupt George Washington will sway your perceptions.

Or maybe if you’re more of a casual gamer, the possibility of a Star Wars themed Angry Birds game will whet your appetite.

No? Nothing? Well heck, then I don’t know what will please you!

It was a relatively quiet week gaming news. So quiet in fact that I declare Pokemon/alpaca crossovers as news!

But on a more serious note, my mind was totally blown when I discovered you’re actually not supposed to play into an NES cartridge.
