Sunday Roundup: 11/24/13 – The Wii U Edition

New Games (11-24-13)It finally happened:

I bought a Wii U!!

And with some pretty great deals surrounding it: I was able to score the Legend of Zelda Special Edition system for nearly $75 off, as well as snag some cheap, brand new games!

Gaming News: 2/9/13

Skylanders Swap Force LogoHOLY CRAP A NEW SKYLANDERS GAME IS COMING OUT AND I’M TOTALLY GOING TO BUY IT!!

In other news, the Wii U is going to get a special ZombiU bundle to help with its dismal sales. This should be good news considering one of the Wii U’s only hot exclusive titles is getting delayed and it’s no longer an exclusive.

Top Ten Games To Watch For In 2013

Animal Crossing New Leaf LogoEvery year brings new innovations to the medium, new games to get us excited, sad, frightened, or happy, and new games to look forward to. 2013 will possibly see the release, or at the very least see the announcement, of brand new consoles from Sony and Microsoft. That means 2013 could be the last year in the current generation of games. With the burden of an entire generation on it’s shoulders, as well as next generation systems already released by Nintendo, 2013 could be one of the better years in gaming. While there will be dozens of games adored and loved by gamers this year, here are 10 titles that I’m particularly excited to see and play. Each of these games range in target audience, platform, genre, and concept, but all of them are shaping up to be future best sellers, award winners, and possible candidates for truly memorable and classic video games. This Week in Gaming News: 4/21/12 – 4/27/12

What did this week bring us in gaming news? Japan is getting some awesome 3DS games that look amazing, G4 loses its most notable personality, Nintendo says they’re giving Kirby a 20th birthday extravaganza, and there’s a Kinect game coming out that combines rhythm games with basketball dribbling.

And if that’s not enough for you, there’s also a blog out there with incredibly original Pokemon artwork.
