After sitting out for an episode I’m back on the Bosscast with Mat and Jett!
With all the talks focusing the past few weeks on Grand Theft Auto V, I’ve been feeling a bit left out of the gaming loop in terms of what’s new. But all that is going to change with the release of Pokemon X and Y. In this newest episode of the Recurring Bosscast I lead a discussion on all things Pokemon! Unfortunately Mat and Jett don’t share my enthusiasm for the series… nonetheless, Pikachu and crew are back!

The Recurring Bosscast is back and better than ever with our 25th episode!
In honor of Grand Theft Auto V being released, Mat, Jett, and I reminisce about our past experiences with video game launches. I recall getting stuck out in the rain for Mortal Kombat. Jett goes to all the Nintendo platform launches because he’s a fanboy like that, and Mat doesn’t buy in to any of the hype!

Episode 24 of the Recurring Bosscast marks the one year anniversary of the show! Man, I really can’t believe it’s already been a solid year of recording with Mat and Jett. It’s been great so far, and I’m totally looking forward to the next!
Anyway, in our latest episode we disect Jett’s brain after he had the privilege of playing both the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One at Fan Expo in Toronto. Basically Killer Instinct is better than I thought it was going to be.

I had to sit out this week of the Recurring Bosscast due to some crazy scheduling conflicts, but the show must go on!
Mat and Jett talk about sleeper hits on the NES and they even do me the honor of bringing up my mini-review of Ducktale: Remastered. I would totally kick ass at classic Simpson’s trivia, by the way!

Mat was too busy hanging out with Puff Daddy to drop in on our latest Podcast, so Jett and I winged it by ourselves.
What did we talk about?
Street Fighter.
In anticipation of the upcoming Evo 2013 tournament (July 12 through July 14) we take a look back at the entire Street Fighter franchise. Included topics are our favorite games in the series, why Street Fighter: The Movie: The Game is worthwhile, and how Street Fighter will go into the future.

E3 has come and gone (you can read all about it here!) and with it the looming feeling in the Microsoft camp that something didn’t go so well.
And then theĀ reversal happened.
A huge surprise to everyone in the gaming media and even parts of technology outlets in general, Microsoft announced they were doing away with DRM and a few of the key components of the upcoming Xbox One. Naturally, Jett (refreshed after a trip to Cuba), Mat, and myself weigh in on the topic and dub the Xbox One the Xbox 180.

Jett’s MIA for this edition of the Bosscast, so it’s up to Mat and myself to hold the fort.
Without our leader we quickly resorted to replacing him with the closest possible Jett-like object: a paper shredder!
Oh, and we discuss our predictions for the E3 conference going on this week or something.

Hot off the heels of the reveal of the Xbox One, the Bosscast returns with another brand new episode!
This week Jett, Mat, and I are talking about the Super Nintendo and why it’s Jett’s favorite console of all time! You may have heard of some of the games on the console: Super Mario World, Super Metroid, Super Mario Kart, … a lot of “Supers”. We each pick our “Sleeper” hits on the SNES as well. I’m positive after this episode you’ll want to play SNES as bad as we all did!

The Bosscast is back with a special episode discussing the reveal of Microsoft’s Xbox One!
Mat, Jett, and I thrown down our thoughts about the games (or lack there of), tech behind the console, and even the design choice of the box itself. There’s some positives and a lot of negatives from a group of gamers that feel left behind as Microsoft moves forward.
