Gaming News Special: Everything Wii U

As you may have already known, Nintendo finally gave us the important Wii U news we’ve wanted for some time: a release date and a price. Being the respectable and lovable company they are, they also gave us a lot more WIi U news to whet our appetites even more, including brand new game announcements, new Wii U features, and information on upcoming games and release windows. So strap it in and enjoy this special Gaming News edition focusing entirely on the first console of the eighth generation of video games.

This Week in Gaming News: 8/18/12 – 8/24/12

Sad news this week: Nintendo Power is going to be no more by 2013. The veteran gaming magazine will publish its last copy this December. Let the tears fall…. now!

But in brighter news, there’s a sequel to Plants vs. Zombies coming, and maybe one to The World Ends With You. Oh, and the new Star Trek game, tied in with J. J. Abrams’ film, looks pretty sweet in a brand new trailer. Set phasers to FUN!

Top Ten E3 2012 Announcements

Now that E3 has come and gone, it’s time for just about every gaming journalists, websites, magazines, and anything covering the newest technology to rank the best of the best from this year’s convention. Seeing as only one of my previous predictions kind of came true, E3 was sort of straightforward and down to business. Still though, there’s plenty to be excited about this coming year, and these ten entries are more than enough to satiate even the hungriest of gamers.
