 Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD RemixPS3 Release Date: September 10th, 2013 Purchased at: Target (Sunnyvale, CA – $40) I picked up this one for a new review and have been happy with it so far. The collection offers up full HD versions of the PS2 games Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories. Final Mix is an updated version of the original KH previously released only in Japan with extra content like enemies and a redone battle menu. Re: Chain of Memories is the remake of the original Chain of Memories on the Game Boy Advance which is now remarkably different on the PS2 because it’s shifted from 2D to 3D gameplay. Also included is around 3 hours of HD cinema scenes from the DS title 358/2 Days, which I have yet to play. I’ve been playing more of Chain of Memories than Final Mix, but only because I’ve never finished the game. I’m planning on wrapping up the 358/2 Days cinemas as well as the games and subsequent review later this week. Stay tuned to hear my full thoughts! |
