With E3 just one week away, the industry is buzzing with predictions, announcements, and generally what to expect from this years expo. There will be games, there will be game announcements, and there will be plenty of stuff we didn’t see coming. But will anything be as epic as I am hoping them to be? Here is my top ten list of E3 2012 announcements that I wish were coming true.

It’s been a busy week, but not so much in terms of gaming. Scratch that, I’ve actually clocked in quite a bit of time in games this week, but most of that has gone into Diablo III, which is every bit worth my time as anything else.
My sole game purchase this week came in the form of a new game to review. It’s my first movie-based game I’ve had the chance to review. That being said, my expectations weren’t high.

Borderlands is doing it, so why shouldn’t Street Fighter get a huge collector’s edition for gamers to waste spend their money on? Speaking of Capcom, they’ve got a release date for the new Devil May Cry game that is less than a year away.

It’s never too late to change. Even if your dead. Well, at least if you’re Sissel, the lead protagonist of Capcom’s Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective for the Nintendo DS (and recently released for the iOS). A puzzle game at its core but a crime story in its heart, Ghost Trick is unlike anything else out there. If you’ve been yearning for a fantastic story and creative gameplay,Ghost Trick is set to please.

Leave it to GameStop to lure me to GameCube games yet again. Although this wasn’t entirely GameCube games being on sale. The store has a “Buy 2, Get 1 Free” sale on all their pre-owned PS2, PSP, and GameCube games (which can be mixed and matched as you see fit). Well now there’s a deal, isn’t there? I’ll have to check out many other GS’s in the coming week, but for now I settled on a few classics.

When thinking of the Fable series a few elements come to mind: your actions having a great impact on the story; a beautiful, changing world for you to explore and live in; and a satisfying feeling once you’ve completed your epic journey. Unfortunately these features are noticeably absent from Fable Heroes, a spinoff hack-and-slash downloadable title for the Xbox 360.
What Fable Heroes does offer is an accessible multiplayer driven experience that any gamer can pick up and play.
